There’s never been a more exciting time for local writers...
Riverhead’s main aim when it was launched over sixteen years ago was to help and promote Hull’s wealth of unsung, writing talent and raise the creative profile of the city. And, following the unique success of ‘2017-UK City of Culture’, and the legacy that it has left, that aim remains stronger than ever.
And now, as we reflect on that legacy, we must remember that the opportunities that 2017 presented, haven’t ended, but just started. And to celebrate this, Riverhead is looking forward to discovering more of the area’s writing talent.
During the last twelve months we published our usual crop of new releases by local authors, including Bob Addey’s ‘Changing Course’ and Keith Pollard’s ‘Red & White Phoenix’ and we are now looking ahead to 2019 and anticipating another exciting year.
Riverhead will also be promoting a number of literary competitions with the opportunity of seeing your book published and on the shelves of the city’s leading bookshops.
So watch out for more details.
